The Davis Mountains State Park is located 4 mi (6.5 km) north of Fort Davis. This area allows for lots of recreational activities including camping, hiking, camping and bird watching, among others. An interpretive center can be found in the park. This State Park is home to the Indian Lodge, which was built in the 1930s and is operating today. Address: Hwy 118 N.
